What I Learned
During these projects I learned how to apply an omnichannel, which is cross-channel strategy to improve UX and drive relationships across multiple points of contact. Moreover, I wanted to expand the brand identity but not offer the same content in each channel. I think in this day and age, this is a valuable skill to cultivate.

About the Projects
These projects take the same subject matter (20th century modern art) and create different experiences for a podcast, social media platform, mobile app. and interactive pdf.
Podcast
The podcast is called the 20. Twentieth (20th) century modern art is chock full of wonderful content that made it hard to decide which subjects to cover in just 3 episodes. So, I decided to cover the subject matter chronologically. I did this mainly so I could cover what I thought were milestones in the century, while still have a variety of topics. The art movements I covered were; Cubism, Dada, Surrealism, Pop Art and Minimalism.

Social Media Platform
I chose Pinterest to promote a fictitious art museum called the Pierce-Hastings Museum. I chose this platform to encourage users how to include art in their own home or pins that encourage them to visit the museum. (Art Collection and Interiors of the museum)

Detail of profile on Pinterest

In Fig. 1 I have a pin to show users how art can look in their home and in Fig. 2 it gives a background of the artwork that can be accessed from within the pin in Fig. 1.

Mobile App.
This is a Proof of Concept (POC) of a mobile app. called the Pocket Muse that allows users to discover art wherever they are. It has 2 different ways to learn about art (1) by taking a picture of an artwork or (2) looking at a collection of art and choosing which one you would like to learn about.

Interactive pdf
I created an interactive pdf for my museum. The digital book is meant to emulate what a real exhibition catalogue would include such as; cover, table of contents, essays, biographies of artists, etc... I added interactions like; page navigation for previous/next, navigation to sections of the book, buttons that reveal information about the artists and links to outside websites.
